Order & Shipping Information

CLEMSON KAYAK ORDERS

Clemson Kayaks are available for delivery in the USA and only to the lower 48 States plus Washington, D.C.  The charge to ship 1 or 2 kayaks is a flat rate of $135 to any of the states we service.  To estimate the arrival date for your kayak, allow 1-2 business days (excludes holidays and weekends) for order processing and then an additional 5-10 days for delivery.

Kayaks ordered from perceptionkayaks.com are shipped via LTL shipping partners such as Old Dominion or ABF and someone must be home to accept the delivery. You will receive a phone call from the shipping provider a day or two before your kayak is scheduled to arrive.  This call with confirm the delivery timeframe and confirm that you will be home to sign for the delivery.  Please inspect the kayak when it arrives and before the delivery driver departs to ensure that it has not been damaged in transport.  If there is shipping damage, please note the damage on the receipt and refuse the delivery.  This will initiate a claim for your kayak and a member of our Customer Service team will contact you to arrange for a replacement shipment.

If you order the Orange Sea Passage Paddle or Orange PFD to go with your Clemson Kayak, it will ship separately from your kayak and will be delivered by UPS or FedEx.  See information below regarding shipping time estimates for accessories.

 

PADDLE & ACCESSORY ORDERS

The following information applies to paddles and accessories ordered directly from perceptionkayaks.com.  Some accessories shown on this site are sold via partner sites and you will need to refer to the shipping and return information on those sites as the below information does not apply.  To estimate the arrival date for your paddle or accessory order, you will need to consider both the order processing time and shipping time window. Please be aware that orders containing more than one item could arrive in multiple packages.

ORDER PROCESSING

Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing (excludes weekends and holidays).  Order processing includes payment verification and warehouse processing time.  The order processing time may be increased if we encounter a credit card verification issue.   We will contact you via email if there are any issues processing your order.

SHIPPING

We currently ship to the lower 48 United States and Washington, D.C.  (In the future, we plan to offer shipping options for Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO Military addresses and Canada but do not ship to these regions at this time.)

Additionally, at this time we offer a standard shipping option only – no rush orders.  Once your order has been processed and shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email.  Order tracking is available through your shipping confirmation email.  

All packages are shipped via UPS or FedEx and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.  We don't require a signature for delivery of accessories. The decision to leave an unattended package at your front door is solely up to the discretion of the driver.

CANCELING AN ORDER OR CHANGING A SHIPPING ADDRESS

If you'd like to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please contact immediately after placing your order at [email protected], and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request. Please include “Change/Cancel Order” in the subject of the email.

However, please note that our warehouse often processes orders within 1 business day, so the time window for address changes or cancellations is very short.

If we are unable to cancel or make the requested change to your order before it ships, you can return the order at your convenience.

 

RETURNS

You may return most new, unused paddles or accessories purchased at perceptionkayaks.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

A return authorization form is required for our warehouse to process a return. If you need to return an item, please email us at [email protected].  In the email, include your order number, the date of your order and the reason you wish to return the item.  Our team will contact you with return instructions.
